Book your place and join us for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating exploration of some of the wildest places on earth. For our Banchory tour date we have two incredible speakers lined up:

Jenny Tough is currently aiming to run (solo and unsupported) across a mountain range on every continent. In 2016 she ran 900km across Kyrgyzstan from Karakol to Osh via the Tien Shan mountains. Last October she ran 860km across the Atlas Mountains, a wild experience of hostile landscapes, desert heat, Berber hospitality, and overwhelming police encounters…

Markus Stitz is an endurance cyclist, singlespeed enthusiast and keen bikepacker. Markus is best known for his journey around the world using just one gear on his bike! He braved -17'C in New Mexico and 40'C in Thailand and will bring us warm tales from his journey across the globe.

As well as hearing from Jenny & Markus, we'll also be showing a selection of our favourite films from Kendal Mountain Festival 2017 – from flying above the Azores to freediving with Orcas, from skateboarding across Colorado to swimming in the wild ocean – you'll be taken on a journey you'll never forget!
